Plan notes

Useful context before you go

This source-faithful plan follows the creators’ explicit seven-day route and budget approach, with Seminyak, Nusa Penida, Ubud, Canggu, and Kuta bases. Budget benchmarks are approximately $1–$3 for nasi goreng or mi goreng, $0.50–$1 per satay skewer, $4–$7 for babi guling, and $2–$4 for nasi campur. For short stays, pre-book pocket Wi-Fi at about $3.50 per day or a local SIM from about $22 for 30 days; withdraw cash at airport ATMs for smaller warungs and shops while using cards where accepted. Scooter rental is described at about $4–$5 daily, but only ride with a valid license, helmet, and confidence in Bali traffic. Grab or Gojek is recommended over negotiating taxi fares. A private car charter can combine a town transfer with sightseeing: six hours from about $30 per car for four people, or 10–12 hours from about $40 per car. The creators’ sample total was about $434 per person, rounded to $500 including flights, six nights, food, transport, tours, and activities; prices may change. Villa options include roughly $15 nightly for two at Junjungan Rice Terrace Canggu, $40 at Heaven in Bali, $18 at Ubud Sawahan Homestay, $28 at Alia Boutique Homestay, and $30 at Nenggala Suites. Dry season is April–November with more sun, crowds, and higher prices; wet season is December–March with more showers, fewer tourists, and potentially better accommodation deals.
