In the ghat section, the waterfall view is on the left and track walking is prohibited. In Goa, the budget chain is Madgaon Railway Station → KTC Bus Stand → Panjim Bus Stand → Calangute, scooter rental in Calangute was ₹350/day, Fort Aguada is ₹25 entry plus ₹50 scooter parking and closes at 5:30 pm, Baga/Tito's is the loud nightlife half, and the south Goa return shopping stop was cashews at ₹750-₹850/kg, ₹400 for half a kilo, or gift boxes around ₹200. Day 1 - Madgaon Arrival, Calangute Base, Parra Road & Baga Night
Use this first day as the north Goa logistics day: settle into Calangute, take the Madgaon -> KTC -> Panjim bus chain instead of taxis, and remember that the Panjim bus stand opens the Calangute, Candolim, Siolim, and Mandrem routes. Once you have the scooter, Parra Road, Fort Aguada, Baga, and Tito's are easy to cluster, with the hotel pool as the midday reset and Fort Aguada best before its 5:30 pm close.

Day 2 - Fontainhas, Butterfly Beach & South Goa Loop
This is the slower south Goa loop: Fontainhas is the daylight photo stop, Butterfly Beach access can be cash-sensitive, and Agonda/Palolem are the calmer beaches on the same run. Calangute works as the return base after the loop, and the cashew buy on the way back was quoted at ₹750-₹850/kg, ₹400 for half a kilo, and gift boxes around ₹200. The creator says this monsoon half is especially worth it because South Goa turns lush green.
