Begin around Liston, the elegant arcade that forms a natural entrance to the Old Town. Use it as the starting point for a relaxed walk, coffee, or people-watching before moving into the smaller streets.

Take your time on the return climb to Afionas rather than treating it as a quick exit. Proper shoes, water, and a measured pace are especially important after swimming and walking in the heat.
