Plan notes

Useful context before you go

This is a compact two-day Macau plan built around the contrast between Cotai's polished resort world and the peninsula's Portuguese-Cantonese heritage. Day one is best suited to staying on the Cotai Strip, while day two works as a concentrated food and history walk through old Macau. For the most efficient resort movement, use the air-conditioned links between The Londoner, The Venetian, The Parisian, and the Eiffel Tower. On the peninsula, start early to experience Senado Square and the Ruins of Saint Paul's before the afternoon crowds and heat. Reserve special-occasion dining at La Chine in advance, and check current opening times for the restaurants and attractions. The Sands Lifestyle app may provide dining, spa, and resort credits, subject to its current terms.

What is in this plan

Day 1 Cotai Strip luxury, dining and indoor landmarks

Base yourself around Cotai for this phase. The Londoner, The Venetian, The Parisian, and their connecting indoor walkways allow the full day to continue comfortably in heat, rain, or wind. The resort complex is intentionally theatrical, so allow time for interiors and evening lights rather than treating each stop as a quick photo.

Day 2 Old Macau history, heritage streets and local food

Move to the Macau Peninsula for the second day. Begin with breakfast, then reach Senado Square and the Ruins of Saint Paul's early, since the historic core becomes much busier later. The strongest theme here is the coexistence of Portuguese architecture, Cantonese food traditions, colorful streets, and long-established local districts.
