Plan notes
Useful context before you go
This is a luxury resort-focused Maldives plan for travelers who prioritize exceptional villas, curated dining, relaxation and marine-life experiences over independent island-hopping. Pack reef-safe sunscreen, swimwear, a dry bag, waterproof phone protection, polarized sunglasses and a lightweight rash guard. Confirm seaplane or boat transfer timing directly with the resort before arrival. Resort bicycles are useful for getting around larger islands, while buggy service is better for family members who prefer not to cycle. Ask restaurants in advance to accommodate dietary restrictions; the resort kitchen was able to prepare vegetarian Indian dishes such as dosa and paratha. An eSIM can be installed before departure to avoid airport SIM queues, but verify Maldives coverage and activation requirements before relying on it.
