A Road-Tripper’s 10-Day North Coast 500 Journey Through the Scottish Highlands

Begin the River Inverweelock walk from the Lochinver area. The route is described as a roughly 5-mile loop, though the travelers only followed part of it along the river.

Stop in Lockenbar for the bakery’s large selection of pies. Try the award-winning venison and cranberry pie or the steak and ale pie.
