Plan notes
Useful context before you go
This specialized cultural pilgrimage explores the living interfaith heritage, ancient temple complexes, and sacred mela gatherings across Sindh, Balochistan, and Punjab. Carry local cash (PKR) as digital payments are rarely accepted in rural pilgrimage sites and highway rest stops. Respect local customs by dressing modestly (covering shoulders and knees) and removing shoes before entering temples and gurdwaras. When visiting remote sacred sites in Hingol National Park and Nagarparkar, arrange private overland transport or join organized yatra buses, as public transport can be sparse. For highway travel, standard roadside dhabas offer fresh lentils, curries, and buffalo-milk chai.
