Plan notes
Useful context before you go
This is a source-faithful five-day plan for a traveler who wants Boracay's polished beach experience balanced with quieter shores, local food, gentle adventure, and authentic Filipino culture. Fly into Caticlan Airport when possible; the island transfer is faster and more seamless than arriving through Kalibo, which requires roughly a 90-minute drive to Caticlan. If departing early, verify whether your flight leaves from Kalibo or Caticlan. Consider using the Wise travel money card for bookings, local PHP transfers, and ATM withdrawals, while still carrying cash because smaller island businesses may not accept cards. Pack reef-safe sunscreen, swimwear, a dry bag, cash, and light clothing. Reserve Station 1 if you want to be close to White Beach, Willy's Rock, restaurants, and tour pickups; Station 3 is quieter and more budget-friendly. Avoid overplanning the first day, and aim to be out before 7:00 a.m. for the calmest version of Boracay.
