Base out of Truckee and camp near Yosemite Valley. To beat the heavy summer and autumn crowds in Yosemite, set alarms for 4:45 AM and pass through the park entrance stations before 6:00 AM. Bring your inflatable paddleboards for calm morning sessions on Sand Harbor and the Merced River.
